Joshua Wechter

Partner

Prior to founding East Gate Investors, Joshua was a Managing Director at Jamestown where he served as the Co-Chief Investment Officer and Fund Manager for Jamestown’s flagship open-ended vehicle. In his role as Co-CIO he lead transactions for 20 million square feet of property including the sale of Chelsea Market and acquisitions of Industry City in New York and the Innovation and Design Building in Boston. As the Fund Manager Joshua oversaw the Premier Property Fund and served on its Investment Committee.

He started his career at DivcoWest in San Francisco and then joined Starwood Capital's acquisitions group in Greenwich, where he sourced and executed single asset, corporate, and development opportunities across all asset classes and geographies. Subsequent to Starwood, Joshua joined Rubenstein Partners in New York where he sourced and executed office opportunities in the Northeast.

Joshua is a member of the Urban Land Institute. He graduated with a dual degree from the University of Pennsylvania, earning a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a concentration in management from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Arts with a major in history.


Justin Weiner

Partner

Prior to founding East Gate Investors, Justin was a Partner at Belvedere Capital where he was actively involved in all areas of the firms’ acquisition, financing, and development activities for over 13 years. While at Belvedere, he invested in over 8 million square feet of commercial and residential property. Justin played an instrumental role in the acquisition and redevelopment of Industry City.

Earlier in his career, Justin was a Director in the Real Estate Finance Group at UBS Investment Bank, where he was responsible for sourcing, structuring, and underwriting fixed rate loans, bridge loans and preferred equity investments. Prior to UBS, Justin worked in the Structured Finance CMBS Group at Ernst and Young.

Justin graduated with a B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan.
